The Comb is a boutique hair salon based in Singapore. GSK had been tasked to come up with the branding for the salon. The following logo that we have created for the brand seeks to bring to mind the image of a crowned woman. The tails of “M” and “B” shows the strands of hair of a woman’s silhouette with “the” as the crown.
The logo conveys the message that at The Comb Salon, customers are treated like queens.
The brand identity was created as an iconic mark of excellence that communicates with luxury and sophistication.
Main colour scheme of black and white serve as a subtle portrayal of timeless beauty.
The black and white marble texture was chosen to be the main graphical element to enhance the elegant and sophisticated look.
